Hi, I'm Nils Driezen, a 20 year old 2nd-year student at Thomas More Geel pursuing Electronics ICT (Cloud & Cyber Security). I'm actively learning cybersecurity fundamentals through coursework, lab exercises, and personal projects.
Why Cloud & Cyber Security? I've always been fascinated by how systems work—and more importantly, how they can break. The idea of understanding vulnerabilities, testing security boundaries ethically, and learning to think like an attacker (for defensive purposes) drew me to this field. I wanted a degree that combines broad technical foundations with deep security expertise.
Learning Focus: In my studies, I concentrate on Cybersecurity, Red Team concepts, and Penetration Testing. Through SKIL projects and personal labs, I'm building practical skills in vulnerability assessment, exploit development, and network security testing.
Future Ambition: I aspire to grow into a professional Red Teamer and security researcher, conducting authorized penetration tests and helping organizations identify weaknesses before attackers do.
Beyond the Terminal: When I'm not studying, I spend my time competing in CTFs and solving TryHackMe rooms to keep sharpening my skills. I also enjoy disconnecting from the screen to hang out with friends.
Download CV View CVMy studies in Cloud & Cyber Security cover a broad technical spectrum — from networking and system administration to offensive security and penetration testing. While I have solid foundations in infrastructure and DevOps, my true passion and specialization lie in Offensive Security: understanding how systems break, testing boundaries ethically, and thinking like an attacker to build stronger defenses.
